It’s been four years since Linkin Park’s last album, and on May 15 the band will be releasing the follow-up, Minutes To Midnight. The band will also be headlining the Projekt Revolution Tour this summer, which is expected to begin in late July and run through around Labor Day. More details about dates and bands on the bill will be announced soon.

British songstress Lily Allen has blown up as fast as anyone in recent memory, and she has continued to write music while on tour in the U.S. In fact, she’s itching to head back into the studio before the ideas dry up, causing her to shuffle some of her tour dates here. Country mega-stars Tim McGraw, Rascal Flatts and Carrie Underwood are all slated to perform at this year’s Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas on May 15. Each of them is nominated for awards in various categories. If there is an award for showing the most leg, Underwood will win it, hands down.

Another former American Idol finalist, Elliott Yamin, is hitting the road in support of his self-titled debut album, a 25-city tour that kicks off May 15 in Atlanta and runs through June 19 in Tucson. The CD, which was released on March 20, debuted at #1 on the Billboard Independent charts and has remained there since. Tour dates are:

The Family Values Tour is set to return again and promises to be the biggest and best FVT in history, which isn’t say all that much since the tour has only been in existence since 1998. But still, with founders Korn and also Evanescence headlining, it’s already a big deal. But throw in the likes of Atreyu, Flyleaf, Hellyeah and Trivium, and you’ve got quite a lineup. The tour starts July 20 in St. Louis and runs through September 2 in Irvine, California. Here is the complete routing so far:
