Believe it or not, I first heard this gem on a recent American Airlines flight, as part of their 33 1/3 onboard radio programming. I haven’t dug into much of the Who’s work, but this funky track from 1982’s It’s Hard just might change all of that.

All this while absotootley shitfaced. At least I’m assuming she’s on something here. Perhaps she’s just high on life. You go, girl!
Ah, Boy George, you poor bastard…
The man named by his mother as George O’Dowd has begun his community service task: cleaning up the streets of New York.
Predictably, the media is all over George as he goes about his court-required civic duty, leading him to yell out such comments as, “”You think you’re better than me? Go home. This is supposed to be making me humble. Let me do this. I just want to do my job.”
Gosh, I remember when it was his job to look like this…

The website Classic Rock Revisited has ten likely suspects…but some of them, methinks, are a bit iffy. Lord knows, however, that 8 – 10 are absolutely spot on…and #1 would be a lock in most folks’ lists:
That’s apparently the mindset taken by a bunch of fellers who took it upon themselves to pretend to be the ’70s band Redbone, best known for their hit single, “Come and Get Your Love.”
The imposters ended up playing the Butte-Silver Bow Fair in Montana…which rather pissed off the actual band, who were playing in Wisconsin at the time…but, frankly, I think the fault lies with the fair organizers, who probably could’ve avoided the incident if they’d just done a little research. I mean, here’s the real Redbone…
