Smiths turn down 5 mil to reform

Ah, big deal. Yes, The Smiths turned down a small chunk of change to get back together. Personally, I’m glad they didn’t do it as this is one band that I can definitely do without. Morrissey’s voice makes me instantly hulk out and smash things. However, I guess I won’t get to personally do that seeing as how they won’t be reforming and touring. Dammit. To finally just hit that guy really good once and for all would be worth an overpriced concert ticket. Oh yes, I want to be the thorn in weepy-boy’s side.

Once again, the name “Gunther” is synonymous with manliness

Gunther Gebel-Williams was the manliest of men as lion tamer for the Ringling Brothers Barnum Bailey Circus…but, then, that guy who ran Central Perk on “Friends” really dragged down the coolness factor of the name “Gunther.”

Finally, however, the magic is back.

“Let’s sexualize the world,” indeed…

And if the man’s own site doesn’t convince you that he’s far more awesome than you are, this video, where Günther teams up with Samantha Fox (yes, THAT Samantha Fox…and she still looks good), surely will.

Big boobs love big boobs

Only, not for fundraising. Yes, Jessica Simpson turned down an invitation with the prez when the dinner date looked more like a fundraising event. She’s not own with that, although her father was quick to point out that the Simpsons are big supporters of monkey man. Of course we’re talking about the Simpsons here, not anyone intelligent. So you have to take these things with a grain of salt. No word on if Nick Lachey put a desperate bid in to show up at the White House in lieu of his ex-ditz.

Johnny Rotten pissed off again; rest of world keeps turning

Does anyone really give a shit what John Lydon thinks anymore? Have they since the Sex Pistols originally quit after that first album? Ah well, he seems to think we do. This time he’s bitching about some Danish fans who threw bottles at the band at a festival. I would have thrown bottles as well, not out of any punk enthusiasm, but rather to just get the band off the stage. Seriously, that Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction is a mercy fuck.
