According to Paul McCartney, Thom Yorke turned down Paulie’s invitation to record a duet. Thom said he was only interested in recording music with Radiohead. This seems like a fine move on Yorke’s part, actually. Although listening to an old and young dude both croak out their lyrics on a duet may have made for disastrously good listening.
If this isn’t big news, then what is? Shoegazer faves My Bloody Valentine are set to return for a trio of shows next summer. It will be the first time the band has played on stage in 16 years. The band will be playing in London, Manchester, and Glasgow, and tickets go on sale Friday, Nov. 16. Amen.
And because I like posting this crap, news and video has surfaced of Britney Spears blowing through a red light, causing opposing traffic to come to a halt. And yes, she had her kids with her. Will Brit-Brit ever learn, or is this going to be the most fantastic constant meltdown in celebrity history? Is that a deathwatch clock I still hear ticking?
