Not because Sgt. Pepper got dethroned, but because 40,000 people have decided that Oasis’ Definitely Maybe is the best album of all time. So a Beatles wannabe band beats The Beatles. Oooooookay. There are tons better albums than Sgt. Pepper out there (including Revolver, which has now slipped to #3 on the pollster’s choices), but Definitely maybe isn’t one I would have picked by a long shot.
