London is one of my favorite cities, and the theater is one of my favorite things to do in this historic city. I love checking out West End musicals after enjoying an incredible meal at one of London’s new restaurants. Ironically, now you can enjoy one of the great American cities, or at least a musical about it, with the Chicago Musical London production. Check out the video above for a preview.
Not that this musical needs an introduction. It was a huge hit in the United States, and also was made into a very popular Hollywood movie. I love it as it really captures the heart and soul of Chicago. The music is incredible, as is the choreography. It’s one of those shows that makes an impression on you that lasts for years.
The West End of London is also a super cool spot. It’s in central London, and there you’ll find many of the beautiful city’s major tourist attractions. There are also tons of shops as well, so make sure to bring your credit cards. The area is very expensive. It’s great to stay there or nearby, but for a London trip you have to do a ton of research in order to make the trip affordable. You want to spend your money on cool experiences like theater tickets, so you have to save money elsewhere. Just a cab ride to the airport can break the bank. I recommend doing research and finding good family restaurants where you get real value for your money. Do that, and you’ll be able to see some great shows while staying in your budget.
