Early this morning, Axl Rose was arrested in Stockholm for…get this…biting a security guard in the leg.
“Why, yes, I was drunk when I got my hair done like this.”
The arrest took place at his hotel; Rose — who performed in the Swedish capital on Monday — was ordered held in jail by prosecutors on suspicion of attacking and threatening the guard, as well as causing damage to the Berns Hotel where the alleged scuffle took place, police spokeswoman Towe Hagg said.
Hagg told The Associated Press that Rose was intoxicated during the confrontation, which occurred shortly before 8 a.m., and was not questioned by police until after he sobered up. “He was deemed too intoxicated to be questioned right away,” she said.
Bystanders said that they thought they heard Rose scream, “Hey, Chinese Democracy is probably coming out later this year,” but this will probably only be used as evidence to prove just how drunk he was at the time, as no-one in their right mind believes that Chinese Democracy will ever come out.
