Whoops. During an interview with XM DJ Clint Boon, Peter Hook accidentally let it slip that New Order is no more.
Now, I love New Order. If I had a dollar for every time I’ve played one of their songs, I’d be a wealthy, wealthy man. But I’m glad they’re finished. Their last album, Waiting for the Siren’s Call, bored me to tears, and as I was considering bands to include for an upcoming piece on bands that should break up and bands that should get back together, New Order was near the top of my list.
