Pop music’s most infamous duo are slated to return as the subject of a biopic, with Jeff Nathanson at the helm. Nathanson, if you recall, wrote Catch Me if You Can, which really didn’t do too well at all. But perhaps this will be a new leaf overturned. After all, how many movies will star phonies as phonies? That is, assuming this bipic will actuallyhave stars. God knows it’s going to need something if it doesn’t want to go straight to Lifetime.

“Catch Me If You Can” made $164 million in the US, and $351 worldwide. Didn’t “doo” too well? Yeah, right.
Poor Meds, always seeming to mistake money take for a well-liked reception. Need I remind you that the three “new” Star Wars movies did well monetarily, but sucked nevertheless? Ditto “The Blair Witch Project”? I thought not! HAR!
“Catch Me If You Can” was also nominated for two Oscars and a Golden Globe, and Leo’s performance was widely praised (as was that of Tom Hanks).
Coupled with the aforementioned box office stats, I’d say that’s “dooing” pretty well.
I’ll stick with Mr. Medsker on this one…and not because I’m married to him!
Hmm, OK, my bad. My recollections of the movie at the time were different. I thought it wasn’t as successful as that, so my apologies for shitty journalism this time. Still, those Star Wars movies did suck. And there’s no point in making fun of the misspelling anymore since I went and fixed it a while back. Ha!
